I grew up in the Midlands and, before ordination, studied Biomedical Science at Keele University.

These days, alongside parish ministry, I’m studying for an MA in Theology, where I spend a perhaps unreasonable amount of time thinking about Greek metaphysics and the early Church.

Away from theology, I love making music and playing guitar — although most of my music is now made on a computer.

At the heart of my ministry is a simple hope: to be part of a Church where the least, the last and the lost know that they have a place; a community where everyone is welcomed, valued and encouraged to discover a life shaped by Christ.

I’m passionate about a faith that is intellectually curious, open-hearted and lived out in the ordinary stuff of life — and I’m always interested in what happens when we take Jesus seriously.
